I live very close to the French QSL buro and I try to visit the service almost once a week. Weekly, I have over a Kg of cards, sometime several Kg.
Sure, all are not for me but let say that 70% are heading to my own call, mostly as manager. This really means that QSL exchange over associations is working very fine. The proximity of the buro gives me the chance to minimize the delay between RX date of the card and reply, usually less than a dozen of days.

Direct cards and those processed with the OQRS are done almost immediatly ! What a great system !
